Justus
I have been programming computers since I was 10. I enjoy projects that require a deep understanding of technical and/or commercial problems.
I'm joining
Citadel
as a quantitative developer on the Distillates desk in NYC.
Distillates trades refined petroleum products like gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, etc.
My recent work has shifted toward this research-oriented quantitative development. However, the bulk of my past experience is in computer systems. I previously interned at
-
Citadel
in Houston, also on Distillates, -
Microsoft
in Redmond, working on high-performance RDMA networking,
-
NASA's
Johnson Space Center, working on experimental robotics projects.
Before that I worked at a local software contractor during my junior and senior year of high school.
I also did Future Focus at
Optiver.
In college I worked under Dr. Dmitri Loguinov. My research interests were on the design and optimization of vectorized, cache-optimal algorithms for memory-bounded computations, specifically partitioning and sorting.
Also check out my embedded systems projects (cool!)
