Welcome to "my personal slice" of the web. The state of the Internet has really been bothering me lately... so much corporate and AI-generated slop. Although this is technically my public portfolio, it's important to me that I keep my home on the "small web."
WHO IS JUSTUS?
I'm a computer programmer with a fondness for hardware.
This summer I'll be joining Citadel, working on commodities research engineering. Previously, I interned with Microsoft and NASA. I am doing my undergrad at Texas A&M.
Seattle
I am (broadly) interested in systems programming, big-data processing, program optimization, high-performance kernel-bypassed networking, distributed systems, memory-bounded computation, OS, and microarchitecture.
Cape Flattery
What a nerd... I know. My hobbies include hiking, playing football, ...and reworking my website every 6 months.

CURRENT WORK
MOST of my current work is designing high-performance, cache-optimal, vectorized algorithms for memory-bounded problems like sorting and partitioning. I work under Dr. Dmitri Loguinov. Since we optimize the hotpath at the μ-op level, I write a lot of code in x86-64 assembler, with heavy use of AVX. Besides that I write almost exclusively C and C++ these days.
Continued on Research.
